For Landline Telephones: (includes most phones with wires)

Step 1:

Purchase a PoopTel box. Most Poop Island stores do sell PoopTel boxes. See locations in the "Where to Buy" section. Most often they will sell for $15.99 for consumer, $26.99 for intercom, and $45.99 for business or priority lines. Poop Island Phone Numbers share +1 with the surrounding United States, with Georgia area code 706. Activate your PoopTel account with the store cashier. 

Step 2:

Aquire an old-fashioned landline telephone, CORDED. The PoopTel box doesn't work with non-corded phones. Digital corded phones will work.

Step 3:

Plug the corded phone into the PoopTel box. You should hear a chime.  If you don't, you didn't follow Step 1 correctly, and you didn't set up your account.

Step 4:

Wait a few minutes. Eventually, you should be able to make a call. You are done!

For SIM Card Cellular Telephones

Step 1:

Purchase a PoopTel SIM card at a Poop Island store, locations seen in "Where to Buy." Activate it with the store cashier. SIM cards are free, but your cellular plan will cost money. $20.00/mo for 20GB, $25.00/mo for 25GB, and $30.00/mo for unlimited. Or, pay off the year with $235.00 for 20GB, $295.00 for 25GB, and $340.99 for unlimited.

Step 2:

Insert the SIM card into the phone. If "cellular" is not turned on in the phone's "Settings" app, turn it on. If the phone does not have a SIM card slot, read the section "E-SIM Cellular Telephones"

Step 3:

Wait a few moments. If you cannot get cellular reception, you either did not do Step 1 correctly, or you are not in a good cellular reception area.

Step 4:

Done! You should see in the area where it states what carrier you have as "PoopTel 20" if you subscribed to a 20GB plan, "PoopTel 25" if you subscribed to a 25GB plan, and "PoopTel UL" if you subscribed to an unlimited plan. You can now make calls and send text messages.

For E-SIM Cellular Telephones: 

Step 1:

Go to a Poop Island store, locations in "Where to Buy." Walk to a cashier and ask them to setup a PoopTel E-SIM plan. Hand them your cellphone, then tell them what plan you'd like or have. $20.00/mo for 20GB, $25.00/mo for 25GB, and $30.00/mo for unlimited. Or, pay off the year with $235.00 for 20GB, $295.00 for 25GB, and $340.99 for unlimited.

Step  2:

When the cashier hands you back your phone, you should have cellular reception. Wait a few minutes. It is reccommended to stay in the store until you confirm you have cellular reception to make sure the cashier did it correctly.

Step 3:

Now you should have cellular reception  and you can make calls  and send text messages. You should see in the area where it states what carrier you have as "PoopTel E20" if you subscribed to a 20GB plan, "PoopTel E25" if you subscribed to a 25GB plan, and "PoopTel EUL" if you subscribed to an unlimited plan.

INTERNATIONAL DATA: International data for people visiting Poop Island are provided with 5GB of 4G data for the entire trip, plus unlimited 3G data after you use the 5GB data.  The rates are $7.99 a day. For those who reside in Poop Island and are visiting the United States, your PoopTel plan will provide. Visiting elsewhere, you are provided with mobile service by carriers in that country, with  5GB of 4G data for the entire trip, plus unlimited 3G data after you use the 5GB data.  

For Television Antennas and Televisions:

Step 1:

Go to a Poop Island store. Participating locations seen in the "Where to Buy" section. Purchase an antenna and a television set.

Step  2:

When at home, unbox and plug the TV into a wall outlet, and use the remote control to turn the TV on. You should see "No Signal. Check connection." This is normal.

Step 3:

Plug in the antenna.  A connection should  show up and it should recognize it as  an antenna. It should say, "Antenna detected. Please scan for over-the-air TV channels."  Click "Scan"  Wait a few moments, and you should see a number popup, and then click "See Guide." Several TV stations should show up, such as PITV, Poop Island News,  among others." You are done and you may start watching TV.

For Radio Sets and Walkie Talkies

Step 1:

Go to a Poop Island store. Participating locations seen in the "Where to Buy" section. Purchase a radio and/or walkie talkie.

Step 2:

Plug in with the 12 volt power adapter or insert 3 AA batteries. (Weppeck brand reccommended)

Step 3:

Begin listening and/or communicating!
